“I’m almost scared to admit this, but one thing has stopped me collapsing in a puddle of misery on the floor. While each of the previous Potter books has strong claims on my affections, Deathly Hallows is my favorite, and that is the most wonderful way to finish the series.”
Harry Potter and the Deadly Hollows is the seventh and the last book in the famous Harry Potter series that begins with Voldemort and his Death Eaters having a meeting at Malfoy Manor. They are beginning to plan out how to kidnap Harry Potter during his removal from 4 Privet Drive when he would be vulnerable. Likewise, the Order of Phoenix are making plan to save Harry from the attack that Voldemort is going to cast. One of the Order member was sending the plan of theirs to the Dark Lord. They move Harry to the Burrow, as after Harry’s birthday Privet Drive wouldn’t be a safe place anymore. After facing lot of attacks and losing few members they finally reach the Burrow.
On Harrys’ birthday the Minister of Wizarding world pays a surprise visit in the Burrow along with Mr. Weasley. Mr. Scrimgeour then requests harry, Ron and Hermione to come to the living room as they have very important matter to discuss. All three of them give a surprised expression when the Minister talks about the Will of Dumbledore, which has stated that Ron should be given “Deluminator” whearas Hermione should be given the “The Tales of Beedle the Bard.” While they both sat their awestruck Mr Scrimgeour reads the will further indicating that Harry James Potter is to have the “Snitch” and the Gordric sword of Gryffindor.
Harry and his friends, Hermione and Ron, end up in hiding as the Death Eaters raise a war during Ron’s eldest brothers wedding. Voldemort is aware that Harry has a certain power when facing him that no other has, Voldemort is threatened by Harry and has made Harry the number one undesirable, or the most wanted person. Voldemort also learns of the Elder Wand, which is the most powerful wand in existence. He goes in search of this powerful wand in order to ensure victory against Harry in their next encounter.
Harry is plagued with rumors of Dumbledore’s past, and begins to wonder if the Headmaster he so long respected might have had a much darker past than he ever let on. They come across a lot of surprising thing about the novel man Dumbledore. During their quest to finish Voldemort the trio (Harry, Ron and Hermione) are frequently without food, and with winter approaching their journey is no day at the beach. Because of their lack of plan, lack of food, and lack of progress, their spirits are often low, and especially Ron becomes quarrelsome. One night he and Harry gets into a fight and Ron leaves.
Harry and Hermione are devastated that he’d abandoned them. They finally decide to revisit Godric’s Hollow in search of clues, and once again they’re almost caught by Voldemort. Every step they make, it seems, he is there anticipating them. They’ve almost died too many times, and their spirits sink even lower when Harry discovers his wand was broken in the battle. Ron redeems himself a few weeks later by coming back and saving Harry’s life in the nick of time.
They visit XenophiliusLovegood and he explains to them about the Deathly Hallows. Harry realizes that Voldemort is seeking the Elder Wand. However, they are all captured and taken to Malfoy Manor. They escape and Griphook tells them of Helga Hufflepuff’s cup, which is another Horcrux. They break into the vault, retrieve the cup, and escape on a dragon. They enter Hogwarts through a passageway. Harry realizes that Rowena Ravenclaw’s diadem is a Horcrux. Ron and Hermione destroy it with a basilisk fang.
Voldemort has obtained the Elder Wand, but does not fully understand the art of wands. A wand chooses its master, and when its master is overpowered, it changes its alliance. Although Voldemort possesses the Elder Wand, due to a previous chain of events, Harry is master of the Elder Wand. In the end, when Voldemort casts the spell to kill Harry, the spell rebounds and kills Voldemort instead.
It’s all over between Harry and Voldemort with just one spell. Harry is left alive, the true master of the Hallows, and Voldemort is killed for good. He now understands more than he ever has about love, and life, and sacrifice, and in spite of the loss of many of his friends during the last battle, is grateful for the second chance he’s been given at life, and love. In the epilogue, 19 years later, Harry, Ron, Hermione see off their children who are off to Hogwarts.
When you earn friends or any member into your life, we need to value as well as work to keep it strong. Fame never provides you honest people but having honest people provides you the courage to build your dreams. Life isn’t about ruling but one should leave its footmark for the future generation to get inspired. Every person has a past, but their present has nothing to do with past and the future.
