“Do you know the richest place in the world?” It is not in America; it is not in China neither in Europe or in India. The richest place is the GRAVEYARD. Why you ask? Because there you will find ideas which were never executed, stories unheard, concepts and philosophies never discussed. And the second richest place is our surrounding where people exist in this world till 75 or more but the die at the age of 25.
Now, see, the ideas, concepts, philosophies that we have are on our mind and resides in our hearts but except you; your idea is next to non-existent. Nobody can see it and nobody can understand it unless you say something about it. But again, ever after you explain the A to the Z of your “thing” people out there might still get it or share the same vision as you have for the “thing” and it is completely OKAY as you have the strongest card left to play at the table and turn the table around. This magical card is what I refer to as “EXECUTION”.
While planning is all good and great; it becomes something we fixate on and be obsessed with and we try so hard to find a flaw in our planning that even if there is zero flaw we still dig in and find an EXCUSE; not a flaw but EXCUSE to be in this place where we ONLY plan but we miss the point that the flaws will show itself when we EXECUTE. The other thing is we tell our plans to all of those in our close circle which provides us with ‘THE FALSE SENSE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT’ which is extremely dangerous as we will again ONLY feel like we have done and achieved the “plan” which in reality is not true at all. Now, a lot of you might be saying “YEAH, its easier said than done bro.” I never said that it will be a piece of cake and I NEVER WILL. So, I am not be accused here.
And oh, “IF IT WAS EASY, THEN EVERYBODY WOULD DO IT” -Eric Thomas.
Anyways, back to execution. We are accustomed to ONLY planning and having ideas in our ideas but it is only after executing we can figure out if it is a worthy or a worthless idea and if the idea is even good enough to spend our mental energy for. And I know, CHANGE IS HARD. But CHANGE IS IMPORTANT if you are stuck in something you should not and I can say this with full confidence that the results will be on your favor as either you will savor the fruit of achievement or you will learn a lesson. As stated previously by our contributor Bilal: “NO MISTAKES, ONLY LESSONS LEARNED”.
Share this to somebody who needs to read this. And, if that somebody is you, what are you waiting for? Go out there and EXECUTE.
