So, you have homework to do, chores to complete and other millions of task that needs to be accomplished and yet, here you are with me silently seeking help to get out of your current state: ”PROCRASTINATION”.
To the readers, who have come here not addressing an urgent task at hand, Imma gonna be one hundred with you right now: [SHUT THIS TAB AND BLOCK ANY DISTRACTIONS]. That’s right. You can always come back, my friend. OH, COME ON do it already!
Now, to those of you who have little bit of your time; let’s continue.
Now, keep in mind that you need to open. Don’t just go to the corner and bookmark this or say you’ll follow these later because we all know where that leads. I know what it’s like to be pumped at night saying you’ll wake up early and then end up sleeping the first half of your day; I know what it’s like to feel energized at one moment and right after 5 minutes go back to your Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Color Switch (basically everything on your phone). Trust me, I KNOW.
And I hear you CLEAR people, we get tired after doing a task and want to take a break and then say we will continue but we usually tend to take a STOP instead of a PAUSE.

Okay, the first part and the last of our 24 hours seems completely messed up. While we stay up late we always take an oath to not repeat it but come tomorrow we repeat and thus this turns to a HABIT. Now, while you should grind more you also need to rest both mentally and physically. Thankfully, there is this app called ‘ALARMY’ which literally forces you to wake as you have to either solve a math or take a picture of the place previously taken to turn that off; no snooze, straight up turn it off and get the fuck up! The amazing thing about this is, oh WAIT! I will not ruin the surprise find for yourselves, folks.
Science says that a good sleep consists of 5-6 complete sleep cycles but here arises a question, how are we supposed to know when our sleep cycle is complete right? That’s when ‘SLEEPYTI.ME’ comes in handy; it does all the hard work and the only thing left to do for me and you is to set our alarmys. *grin* The rest of our work/study/grind hours we all have this desire to push our limit; redefine it. But seems like only a chosen few can do it; A BIG NO TO THAT! All of us can redefine our limit EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. By staying productive we can achieve the above but staying productive is easier said than done. A lot of us out there have the made it our resolution to meditate or exercise or at least stretch but it has only remained in our heads and if at most at our notebooks. We do this endless search for apps on the store for meditate, exercise and whatnot but download ‘FABULOUS’ and you have it all; open this and there you will find a rocket shaped icon, click on that it will say “make me fabulous” and all you have to do is click on that and we are good to go.
Personally speaking, I am always the one who used to say that I know what I need to do tomorrow and that I can remember it all but it’s one of the two biggest lies a lot of us tell to ourselves. For situations like these to-do lists comes as a rescuer. While I recommend both the traditional to-do (writing on your notebook) and the modern way I see a lot of friends have trouble having the right app; now there are a whole lot apps and you can always keeping changing but for me ‘WUNDERLIST’ has been working great and I request you all to give it a shot even if you already have one. ‘WUNDERLIST‘ also has a desktop application. In our work/study life a lot of distractions tends to come up even when we least want it and the moment we start going through one of our social media we tend to take a stop like I earlier mentioned which is not good for our productivity at all. I am dividing this section to the mobile section and the pc section. For mobile I have chosen ‘FOREST’ and ‘CLEAR FOCUS’; the first helps you grow your own virtual tree for your own set time while the latter applies pomodoro technique and sets its timer as 25 minutes. As for the pc I have ‘COLD TURKEY’ which blocks the websites that we normally tend to fall back into and gives the option to add your own distraction sites as well. As for those of us who need to have a report or an essay submitted and cannot just focus ‘COLD TURKEY WRITER’ is the one; it forces you to write as you once you enter you have no way out! Even if you press alt+F4 you ain’t getting out if this one. And as for keeping your focus in the most effective manner ‘TOMIGHTY’ handles that as this also uses the pomodoro technique which sets you for work for 25 minutes and after it is up you take 5 minute break; that way you won’t be bored to death by working too long and you also will get the task checked.
Now, that we have increased our productivity to a certain extent all we need to do is STICK to the plan and push that level up and up every day and as for the day spend time with your significant other, your family or an old friend with whom you have lost touch and as for now, I hope the above will help you to be more productive, reduce that procrastination and be the best version of you and as for now, I am signing off from here and I’ll talk to you in the next artisode.
