There are two types of people in this world. One who since the beginning knew what they wanted either it is relationships or career or dreams whatsoever. Then there are people like me as in us. Who are confused, then are learning what we want. Let’s take relationships, for example, the first kind of people fall in love and spend their whole life with them and then there are us who take on and date a lot of people to know what we want exactly. We date people for certain phase and then move to another. Yes, it seems very “omg what the heck” but people like me we need to know what exactly we want and we don’t want. And trust me, it is okay to be choosy when it comes to partner you’ll be marrying or dating with. We are supposed to spend our whole life with them so for obvious reasons we need to know if we can communicate and cope up well with. The movies we watch says we have 4 days of life and living with your partner the 2 days out of 4. It’s a long-term investment you see, so being an investor you need to see if it is worth it or not. Wait not worth precisely but if that is the person you can be with or not. Relationships and marriage are a lifelong commitment. You have to grow together so being picky is not a problem.
Then comes the heartbreak. Most of us have been through it and yes it is hard but sometimes we oneself are the ones who are making it harder. Because it’s human tendency that when we know we can’t have it; we want it more desperately. Wishing, desiring, dreaming is not a sin nor is being different. Being adaptable is great, you should always be open to changes but not like on a daily basis or trying to change to impress someone. My best friend always said
My best friend always said universe is dumb enough because it only knows how to say yes. And I am sure you have heard the saying “Be careful what you wish for.” It is because whatever you say is transported back to you. If you believe you’re capable of doing a certain work, then yes you are. Sometimes things don’t happen because better things are waiting. Life is full of surprises. You don’t know what best can be offered. Always remember whatever you say today will happen tomorrow. We have to be grateful enough for everything we have because along the line somewhere we have wished for that. Being a writer is hard and so is being an entrepreneur. Driving towards your dream is hard, but it would have been so much depressing not to have one.
Some of us prefer simple life while some live for adventure while some for name. There is nothing wrong being one of these or all of these. You don’t always have to raise a war. Many of the things can be done without making one bleed. Even flaws are beautiful. We iron a shirt and then create a crease. Crease is supposed to be a flaw, isn’t it? What if it was here and there, we would have grossed right? But then the same thing looks good in another way. No one is perfect. One has something that others don’t have. We all have greatness hidden in us and all we need to do is find it and sharpen it. No results are obtained without hard work. Honestly, I know the example is lame enough but you guys should check out Ed Sheerans’ 3 or 4 years old video where he is singing. You’ll be surprised.
To the conclusion, I would once again like to repeat that being different is okay. It’s okay for not knowing what you want. Don’t fall for s/he is doing this and that and not me. Believe that your time will come; it is just running little late than others. Till then experiment in yourself, spend time with more things, so you may find the one you love doing or being around. Trust me when you find that one, it is truly worth it. Let’s see a last example of Colonel Sanders; best known for creating a fried chicken recipe that would become the world’s fast-food chicken chain, Kentucky Fried Chicken. His time came when he was 62, failing for 1009 times trying to sell his recipe. And at age of 80 he became a billionaire. Better late than never, right?
